WHY MOISSANITE

Moissinate is a gemstone stone born from the stars. Discovered in 1893 by French scientist Henri Moissan, he discovered  microscopic particles of the gem in a crater which was created by a meteorite that fell to earth.

Natural Moissinate is very rare, so almost all Moissanite available today is created in a lab making it sustainable and conflict free. A combination of heat and pressure is used to create crystals from silicon and carbon that are identical in structure to natural Moissanite. It’s a long process and can take 2/3 months to create on stone.
